                                              SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) WAITLIST

                 THE TAYLOR HOUSING AUTHORITY WILL ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FOR THE SECTION 
                 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) PROGRAM ON OCTOBER 18TH AT 8:00AM –
                 OCTOBER 21ST 4:00PM, 2021. AT THE TAYLOR HOUSING AUTHORITY LOCATED AT:

                                                                                                  311C EAST 7TH ST.
                                                                                                  TAYLOR, TX 76574 

                  APPLICATIONS MAY BE PICKED UP IN ADVANCE AT THE TAYLOR HOUSING AUTHORITY 
                  OFFICE LOCATED AT 311C EAST 7TH. ST. TAYLOR, TX 76574, BEGINNING OCTOBER 4, 2021
                  BETWEEN 1:30PM AND 4:30PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. APPLICATIONS MAY ALSO 
                  BE DOWNLOADED AND PRINTED FROM OUR WEBSITE, TAYLORHA.ORG. HOWEVER, 
                  APPLICATIONS CAN ONLY BE SUBMITTED ON OCTOBER 18TH AT 8:00AM – OCTOBER 21ST
                  4:00PM, 2021.AS INDICATED ABOVE.

                      1. Applications are based on date and time received. Applications will be stamped with the current 
                            time and date when submitted on October 18th-21st, 2021.
                      2. THA will only accept 300 applications as part of a lottery drawing. Only those selected through 
                            the lottery will be placed on the waiting list if they qualify. 
                      3. We will be unable to provide any information regarding whether someone is selected to be placed 
                             on the waiting list until after December 1, 2021. Everyone who applies will be notified if they were 
                             selected or not. 
                      4. Applicants will be contacted for assistance according to date and time of the application received 
                            by the Taylor Housing Authority. The only exception to this will be to comply with federal 
                            regulations stating that 75% or more of new admissions during the Taylor Housing Authority’s 
                           fiscal year will have incomes below 30% of the area median (extremely low-income limits) and per 
                           qualifying preferences as noted on item 7 of the application.
